IN plant extracts, what's the difference between 4:1, 5:1 and 6:1 extracts?
In ratio of 4:1means: in ratio 4 parts solvent: 1 part cutted plant. Normally that extract from the higher portion of plant should be more concentrated ( 4:1 better than 6:1 ), but sometimes the solvent is saturated ( hope, that`s the correct term ) ...
Seniors: When was the last time you checked your spices?
I'm not a senior, but I had some spices a couple of years ago that I'd had since I got married 23 years before!!! lol. Since then, I've started cleaning out spices about every 6 months or so.
